Empowering women through devotion, learning and community service.

Executive Committee of Bhopal branch, in its meeting held on 8.3.2020, has constituted a Women’s Group namely “ABASS Naree Shakti Sangham” with the following objectives :-

Eligibility to join group

Only Females attained 18 years and above are eligible to join Nari Shakti Sangham group.
They must be “enrolled members” of the Sangham.
Committee consists of One Patron, 1 Chairperson & 10 Members. Unlimited Group Members having enrolled membership of the Sangham.

OBJECTIVES

Training on financial saving and creation of funds to manage the group objectives in line with Self-Help Group principles.
Arrange programmes on Sanskriti and Sanskar to shape our children for their proper development and to ensure a traditional lifestyle.
Arrange training and awareness programmes for adolescent boys and girls of the community.
Arrange classes on Hindu Life Management Granthams, namely Ramayanam, Geeta, and Lord Ayyappa Charitam.
Arrange Malayalam language classes for those in need.
Arrange meditation and yoga classes to promote good health and a peaceful mind.
Arrange leadership training programmes and training on the concept of “Sustainable Livelihood” through subject specialists.
Organize the Sankalpa Attukal Pongala Pooja at Bhopal every year.
Arrange picnics and religious tours.
Collectively address and represent common issues that are ignored by the management of temples where we worship and schools where our children study.
Strengthen the position of the community in society.
Conduct free-of-cost tuition and doubt-clearing sessions for students.
Arrange pre-marital counselling programmes to help build strong relationships and provide a healthier foundation for marriage, in view of the increasing number of divorce cases reported among the younger generation.
Undertake any other objectives assigned by the Executive Committee of ABASS or suggested by the ABASS Nari Shakti Sangham from time to time.
